Thomas William Wright Bryant, a beloved patriarch and dedicated supervisor with GTE phone company, passed away on September 9, 2024, in Pelham, Georgia. He was born on August 20, 1942, in Greensville, Florida.
Thomas honorably served in the United States Army, exemplifying commitment to his country that was mirrored in his devotion to his family. He embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in his many hobbies and interests. Thomas had a deep love for family gatherings, often shared through outings to auctions, cherished moments spent working in his yard, and quiet days enjoying the companionship of his loyal dog, Ode. Fishing and hunting were among his favorite pastimes, bringing him both peace and excitement.
He is survived by his wife, Faith Grace Kinsey Bryant, and a close-knit family that includes his sons Rufus Denton and wife Patty, and Jeffery Bryant and wife Karen. His daughters, Penny Godwin, Debbie Bryant, and Dottie Bryant Harrison, alongside fifteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, carrying forward his legacy of love and commitment.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, William Russell Bryant, and his mother, Leona Agues Sellers Bryant. He also mourned the loss of his sons, Timothy Denton and Jack Bryant, as well as his brothers Willie and Roy Bryant, and sisters Eunice and Alice Bryant.
With a heart full of memories and lessons of generosity and kindness, Thomas William Wright Bryant will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. His life was a testament to the importance of family and the joy of shared experiences, leaving an indelible impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
