Thomas "Tony" Hilton Sapp, Jr.

MOULTRIE, GA – Thomas Hilton “Tony” Sapp, Jr., 69, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2023, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Pavo, Georgia.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born May 25, 1953, in Pavo, Georgia, he was the son of Laura Ladson Sapp of Moultrie and the late Thomas Hilton Sapp, Sr.   Tony was President and CEO of Sapp Trucking and was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Morven.   He enjoyed riding on anything with wheels and speed.  Tony had a passion for riding motorcycles, he would travel cross country enjoying all the sites along the way.   To anyone who knew Tony, they would know he was a very loyal friend who was always there when you needed him.   Today we lost a very good man who will be truly missed by many.

Survivors include his children, Stacy Childress Webb and husband Marvin, Zan Childress and wife Lindsey; grandchildren, Gunner Childress, Asher Childress, Ella Webb; sister, Nawatha White; nephew, Jay White; niece, Shelley White and Jason Daniels; great-niece and great-nephew, Hilton White, Jayci White; several special cousins and extended family members and friends.
