Timmy Lamar Edwards

NORMAN PARK, GA – Timmy Lamar Edwards, 66, of Norman Park, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 13, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Trey Eakins officiating.   Inurnment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born December 27, 1956, in Ft. Myers, Florida, he was the son of the late Franklin Lamar Edwards and Georgia Nell Davis Edwards.  Mr. Edwards was a self-employed carpet installer and was of the Baptist faith.  He loved his family and spending time with them.  Mr. Edwards was an avid coin collector, metal car collector and enjoyed putting model airplanes together.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Kayla Edwards; sisters, Diane Sellers, Georgia Ann Edwards; brother, Tommy Edwards.

Survivors include his nieces, Tonya McMurphy, Melissa Glasgow, Brittany Edwards, Emma Hankins, and Trena Jo Edwards; nephews, Grant Sellers, Shane Sellers and Shawn Sellers; special friend, Kim Downing; aunts, Sue Sellers, Jane Freeman; uncle, Isaac Davis.
