Tommie Lamar Gay

      Tommie Lamar Gay, 82, of Moultrie, died Friday, January 31, 2020 at his home.
      Graveside rites will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Sardis Church Cemetery with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating.
      Born August 29, 1937 in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Simp Gay and Ruth Blalock Gay. Mr. Gay retired from Farmer’s Gin and was of the Baptist faith.
      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son.
      Survivors include his wife, Dollie Branson Gay of Moultrie; daughter, Deanna Clayton of Tallahassee, Florida; step-children, Brenda Blodgett and Tiny Phillips, Cathy Lewis and Rodney all of Moultrie, Tammy Hill and Mike of Virginia, Loyal Postlewaite , Maryann Licht and Dennis all of Belvidere IL, Tony Postlewaite of Moultrie; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Gene Gay; sister, Vickie Williams and husband Wes and Patsy Gay Asbell and husband Frank.
