Troy Ivey O'Hearn, Sr.

MOULTRIE, GA – Troy Ivey O’Hearn, Sr., 83, of Moultrie passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Ricky McLaughlin officiating.  The service will conclude in the Chapel.  Interment will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

 The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45PM Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Kevin Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Landon Norman, Luke Norman, Ethan Segers, and Dylan Segers.

Born August 9, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Franklin O’Hearn, Sr. and Lila Frances Brooks O’Hearn.  Mr. Troy was a retired truck driver for Wells Aluminum and was a member of Moultrie Church of God.  He loved the Lord, his family and enjoyed working in his yard.  Mr. Troy enjoyed camping and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ann Glass O’Hearn; sister, Opal Hollaway; brothers, Willie Franklin O’Hearn, Jr., Doc O’Hearn, and Hugh Don O’Hearn.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Roberts O’Hearn of Moultrie; children, Mary Ann Flowers and Jimmy “Bo”, Troy O’Hearn, Jr. and Sally, Elton O’Hearn and Crystal, C.J. Payne and wife April all of Moultrie, GA, Rex Monday of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren, Melissa Johnson and husband David, Jason Flowers and wife Allie, Kimberly Norman and fiancé Robert Taylor, Erika Saunders and husband Josh, and Alanna McCook and husband Justin, Dylan Segers, Ethan Segers;  great-grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson and wife Maria, Kevin Johnson, Landon Norman, Luke Norman, Isaiah Saunders, Calleigh McCook, Everdene Flowers; great-great-grandchildren, Parker Johnson, Melanie Johnson.
