Wannette Cannon Barnes

NORMAN PARK, GA - Wannette Cannon Barnes was born on March 11, 1937, and was called home on January 25, 2023, at the age of 85. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2023, at Westview Cemetery with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating. The family will greet friends after the service at Westview Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Lee Bornhorst and Edwin Webb Cannon; her brother, Edwin Cecil Cannon; and her daughter Kathy Fay Perry. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Howard T. Barnes Jr; her children, Lee Ann Cannon MacLaughlin (Vance), Randy Barnes (Sandy), Jimmy Barnes, Jamie Barnes, Pamela Harrell, Michael Barnes (Denise), and Jasmine Barnes (Anthony); her grandchildren, Kristin Blevins, Amanda Pritchard (Jamie), Rebecca Barnes and Alex (Brother of Rebecca); her great-grandchildren, Evan Ware, Landon Pritchard, Connor & Aydan Blevins and William Cook; her son-in law, Rick Perry and many other loving family members.
