Wilburn Johnson

 Wilburn Johnson, 93, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Randall Kennedy officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Friday, March 11, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born August 19, 1928, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Sam Johnson and Julie Johnson.  Mr. Wilburn was a proud United States Army Veteran and a member of the 1^st Church of the Nazarene.   He loved his family, friends, and cherished spending time with them.   He liked to fish and work in his yard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lucy Bell Hobby, Pearl Holloway; nephews, Leon Holloway, Earl Holloway; son, Derrell Rayburn; great-granddaughter Cheyenne Wickett.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Marie Abercrombie Johnson of Moultrie; children, Crystal O’Hearn and husband Elton, Tasher Smith and Spring Lasseter, Jerry Plymel and wife Donna, Willie Plymel and wife Jeannie, Frankie Wilson and wife Tammy, Craig Anno and wife Cindy, Mark Rayburn and wife Patricia, Keith Rayburn and wife Greta; grandchildren, Jessica Plymel, Susan Plymel, Dewayne Plymel, Shannon Walker, Steven Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Alisha Anno, Nick Anno, Justin Harrison, Marcus Lynn; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Wickett, Halena Walker, Ronan Walker, Bella Anno, Kylee Burdette, Kingston McBride; and other family members.
