Pensacola, FL- William “Billy” Joseph Boyette, Jr., 57, of Pensacola, FL and formerly of Thomasville, GA, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Reverend Billy Tinsley officiating.

The family will greet friends from 10-10:45 AM Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. The family will also be receiving friends and food at the residence of Toni Boyette.

Born March 8, 1966, in Thomasville, he was the son of William J. Boyette, Sr. and Carolyn Clackley Boyette.  Billy was well known as an Antique Dealer who owned several successful stores in Pensacola which included Uncle Billy’s Trading Post, Uncle Billy’s Man Cave, and Uncle Billy’s Antiques I & II.  He loved dirt track racing and would never pass up an opportunity to drive in a race.  Billy was a resourceful intelligent person who could do anything he set mind to earning him a reputation as a Jack-of-All-Trades.  He loved his family and was always willing to help others if he could.

Survivors include his loving supportive wife, Romonda “Mondy” Boyette; children, Christopher Boyette Baggett, Joseph Boyette Baggett, bonus daughter, Brandy Franklin and husband Johnny, bonus son, Christopher Allred and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Harmonie, JD, Kara, Colton and Kason; brother, Jeff Boyette and wife Brenda; sisters, Toni Boyette, Kim York and husband Al; aunt, Linda Kay Tucker; niece, Ashley Donaldson and husband Taylor, nephew Tyler Boyette and wife Jessica, niece Tiffany Clanton and husband Dillon, nephew Hudson Prevatt and Endsley Wilson, nephew Austin Prevatt and Chelsie Compton, niece Allyssa Litterall and husband Jacob, nephew Ryan York and nephew Kevin Bailey; great nieces and nephews, Landon, Willow, Caroline, Braxton, Chloe, Nick, Pierson, Palmer Kate, Fletcher, Blakeleigh, Braxton, Layla, and Fisher; along with a number of extended family members and friends.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
