William C. "Bill" Durham

William C. "Bill" Durham, 89, of Moultrie, died Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Legacy Village at Park Regency.

          Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside rites will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Westview Cemetery with David Durham, Rev. Dennis Taylor, Rev. Billy Durham and the Rev. John Fain officiating.   A public memorial service will be held at a later date.

          Born October 25, 1930 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late John Clayton Durham and Laura Wilkes Durham.  Mr. Durham was a United States Air Force Veteran.  He retired from the Department of Labor as a manager with over 25 years of service and was a former minister of music at Sunnyside Baptist Church.  Mr. Durham was a member of 1^st Baptist Church of Dothan.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nonadell Reid Durham; son, Daniel L. Durham; daughter-in-law, Debbie Smith Durham; sisters, Jean Durham Newton and Francis Durham Crupper.

          Survivors include his children, Diana L. Mayhaw of Birmingham, AL, David W. Durham of Moultrie GA, Debbie S. Fain and John of Birmingham AL, Billy C. Durham and Sherri of Titusville FL, Julie G. Durham of Hamilton GA, Laura D. Taylor and Dennis of Leesburg GA, Holly D. Hughes and Brad of Sylvester GA; eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
