Valdosta, Ga - William Douglas McLain, 81, of Valdosta, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Pruitt Health-Lake Haven.

Born January 14, 1941, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late William Denton McLain and Clara McLain. Mr. McLain was a United States Navy Veteran. He was an avid marathon runner who participated in the Boston and New York Marathon.
Survivors include his son, William David McLain and Marina McLain; grandson, William Deaton McLain; brothers, Jim McLain, Ben McLain.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Valdosta Humane Society in Valdosta, Georgia.
